CES (Northern) Ltd are thrilled to be back offering Solar PV installations to our services after undergoing up to date training – this time along with Battery storage. Our trained engineers are ready to take our 5-star services in to renewables. Just like all of our other services we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction.
SOLAR & BATTERY
As a company we are passionate about renewable technology and helping our customers reduce their carbon footprint and reduce their energy bills. The UK government introduced a 0% VAT rate on the installation of energy-saving materials (ESMs) in residential properties on April 1, 2022. The scheme is scheduled to end on April 1, 2027 so now is a great time to invest in renewables.
Our team of dedicated engineers will work with you to help design a personalised solution to match your energy needs. If you are looking for a company that will listen to your needs and treats your home like it’s our own then look no further. Our services won’t stop when your install is complete, we will continue to help and assist throughout your renewable journey. Including any maintenance or servicing of your equipment.
Some of the manufacturer training we have undertaken include GivEnergy and MyEnergi.

FAQs
Q. Do I need a dedicated home charging station?
Although you can charge your car via the 3 pin charger plug, it is extremely slow and you have less control then a smart charger which you can program to charge over night for example. 3 pin socket charging isn't’t suitable for prolonged periods of use, overheating of the socket could occur..
Q. How do I claim the grant?
isn't submit the grant application on your behalf after we have installed your point. Simply provide us with the required documents and we’ll sort the rest.
Q. What is tethered and untethered?
A tethered charger means there is a cable that is attached to the charger that cannot be removed.
An untethered charger means you use your own charging cable that plugs into the charge point and then your electric vehicle.
Q. Can I charge my car using my solar panels?
Some EV chargers are very clever and can divert your electricity to your vehicle before sending it back to the grid.
Q. How long does it take to charge an electric vehicle?
The time it takes to charge an electric vehicle varies greatly depending on the charger and size of the battery, anywhere from 30 minutes to 12 hours. There are many options from budget to luxury to suit your charge time needs.
